Spotify Reveals Expansion Plans
Spotify is a popular music streaming service which has of late announced its plan to go online in an attempt to increase its business. The company plans to be visible on games console and TVs or any other device connected to the net.
This future growth plan was revealed by the Chief Executive officer of the company Daniel Ek. The Chief was speaking at the SXSWi event and expressed his intention of making this service available on some web-enabled platforms at homes. According to him this will ensure continuous success for Spotify in the future.
As a first step towards this stated goal the company has confirmed a deal. Vivaz the latest smart phone of Sony Ericsson will have this service provided by 3 Mobile. Tech Radar the online tech news site has reported that the company expects to close some more similar deals. Spotify has a huge customer base which it has build up over the years. According to the data of this month it has seven million subscribers with approximately 320,000 users of premium account with the facility of advertisement free subscription. With this large number of users and good will it now wants to expand its business by being available on other platforms too. Mr. Daniel Ek has voiced his intention of making this service available on set-top box, Xbox or mobile phones.
The CEO of the company is quite excited about his expansion plans but there are few hurdles to cross. Firstly Spotify is yet to make its presence felt in US. Secondly, the deal with the US counterparts of the copyright owners is yet to be finalised.
If downloading music is your thing, then it’s worth a look at some of the broadband prices of TV and phone and broadband bundles which are offered by Sky, Virgin Media and BT. There are a variety of service packs with ad ons to include films, music and sport. Worth a look at and might save you some money on those music downloads.

Lily Allen Wears Sexy Outfit on Stage and Finds out Pink Is a Fan
Lily Allen dared to bare in a super-short cardigan and patterned tights for a performance in Glasgow.
Lily Allen has been playing the tight trick game for a while now…
Back in October it seemed the popstar had stepped out in sexy suspenders only to later reveal her tights were in fact playful prints – and now she’s at it again with imaginary over-the-knee boot hosiery.
Last night Lily performed at the Glasgow SECC asking the crowds, “Does my bum look big in this?”. Wearing a super-short monochrome cardigan and over-the-knee patterned hosiery, Lily is far from body conscious. Hurrah!
Patterned hosiery was seen all over the Chanel S/S 2010 and has since infiltrated the high street. Tackle the trend with confidence and a carefree attitude.
Pink says she is a big fan of Lily Allen.
The ‘So What’ star says she can relate to the fellow outspoken singer, whenever she hears her honest lyrics.
Discussing the ‘Not Fair’ hit maker, Pink says: “Lily Allen is my favourite right now.
“She makes me laugh. And I relate to her because when she’s singing about getting s***-faced in a bar I know that it’s for real.”
Pink recently ruled-out ever being a talent show judge.
She has also announced a 2010 tour for the UK – get pink tickets here.
