Propose to Buy a Camera? A Critical Write-Up

Filed under: Photography Links — admin @ 9:45 am

I should, at the onset, let you know that I myself have possession of a collection of cameras. These include cameras sold by various makers. I own four Nikons, a Fuji, and a Konika. I ought to confess that I am somewhat biased toward a particular company, but I will try that this doesn’t blur any editorial comments I may consequently make.

study the tremendous Panasonic DMCTZ11 Digital Camera

If digital camera sales are any signal of what the top brand is, then as per eBay.com Olympus will be a sure-fire leader. At this moment, this manufacturer boasts of the honor of having the maximum number of cameras in the listing of the best cameras. Additionally, it boasts of 9 of the topmost 10 spots. Next in line are cameras manufactured by Panasonic. Samsung has 2 cameras within the topmost 25. In the subsequent spot are cameras manufactured by Polaroid. Lastly, Kodak enters the fray thanks to its own cameras. gpoz324

Going through another site showed that Nikon led the race, and next came by Sony. The next in line is Flip Video , which in turn is trailed by Contax; and following these are BenQ, Aigo, Bolex, and Vivitar. A second camera review site through their top hundred cameras displayed 47 Olympus cameras, 22 Pentax cameras, 19 Samsung cameras, 3 Agfa cameras, 2 Contax cameras, 3 HP cameras, 4 Aigo cameras, 4 Gami cameras, 1 Yashica camera, as well as one Casio camera.

If you add up all these, the top three comprise of Canon, Panasonic a distant second , and Kodak very close at 3rd. All other makers continue to fight for the top honors.

Choosing a Photographer for Your Dream Wedding

Filed under: Photography Links — admin @ 7:33 pm

Experience Level – Has this individual photographed other weddings? Does she take pictures professionally or for fun?

Photographic stylistics – Are the photos that you are presented, what you would like to see? There are “jargon” phrases flying about all over about photojournalism, formal, classic candid, and so on. Do you prefer a mixture of black and white or entirely colour photos?

Truth in Advertizing – Is this the lensman that will be shooting your marriage or will they send in whomever is available. Don’t be shocked, this happens more frequently than you can suppose. Be careful that you know which lensman is going to take on the job and that you see THEIR work and meet with that individual face to face.

Character – Is the lensman that you encounter someone that you can get on with? Is the “chemistry” there?

Appearance – Ask the lensman how she intends to dress. Is this individual well groomed?

Price Range – Although, the last thing you want to do is shop by price, is this individual within your budget? If not, is he worth the price difference? Ensure you comprehend what every item costs, including reprints and albums.

Delivery – How long does it take to get your proofs back, thank you cards, your completed album, your bridal portraiture, etc.?

Proposal – Whether it’s a la carte or a package, do you comprehend what you are booking? Is there any room for changes and will it cost to do so? Sometimes the packages are fixed, sometimes they can be tailor-made, in any instance, ask. How much time will she spend? What if you call for more time? Ensure that you understand what’s coming.

Contract – Do you understand the contract. Is it fair? Is everything spelled out? When it comes down going to court, only what is WRITTEN really counts, not what was promised. Make sure that you have no questions before signing up. Read it ALL.

What about deposits and payments? What does it state about cancellations and the photographer not being there? If the photographer protests, ask him why? This is one area you mustn’t take lightly. You could be upset for a long time.

References – Word of mouth is always the best and individuals love to talk. Get a list of references from the lensman and verify them out personally. A lensman who doesn’t have references or is not keen to give them to you may not be the person that you need to hire.
