Refurbished Treadmills – What Exactly Are They?

Filed under: World Of Templates — admin @ 3:36 am

Refurbished treadmills are big business. Because treadmills can be so expensive there are many who can not afford to buy a new one. That’s where refurbished treadmills come in. But what exactly are refurbished treadmills?

It’s not just because treadmills are expensive that people are looking to buy some form of second hand, used or refurbished treadmill. It can also be because there is a huge range of treadmills on the market. With a huge range of features.

The aspiring treadmill user is often aware that it is better to start at the lower end of the treadmill market and spend some time getting the feel for exercising on a treadmill.

Although treadmills are some of the most popular items of fitness equipment in the US, they don’t appeal to everyone. Some people can find that they use a treadmill for a while and decide that they prefer some other form of exercise. Sometimes it not another piece of indoor exercise equipment, it’s just that they prefer to exercise outdoors.

So many people will spend a more limited amount of money on a lower end machine and wait until they are happy to upgrade. Others will buy a refurbished treadmill at a much lower price and get a better machine than they would get buying new at the cheapest end of the market.

Not only that, once you have spent some time using a treadmill you will get some feel for the types of features you require in a treadmill. There’s no point in rushing out and buying the most expensive, top of the range model just to find that you don’t use most of the features.

So it makes sense to spend less, get some basic treadmill experience in, and then upgrade to get the exact model you want with the features you need. So you may not need to buy new for your first treadmill anyway, as you may only have it for a year or two.

That’s where refurbished treadmills come in. There are risks in just going out to look for ordinary used treadmills. You don’t know what you are getting. If the motor breaks down the day after you buy it then it may become an expensive treadmill.

A refurbished treadmill, although usually more expensive than a similar second hand model, is a safer bet, especially in the long term.

So, back to our question, what is a refurbished treadmill?

There is a whole range of “cheaper” treadmills. They can be called refurbished treadmills, factory refurbished treadmills, remanufactured treadmills or just used or second hand treadmills.

Lets dispose of the last two first. Used and second hand treadmills are generally just treadmills that someone has used and wants to sell. You buy them, you take all the risk. Unless you know exactly what to look for when buying a treadmill like this then stay clear. Cheap treadmills like this can certainly be, well, cheap. But risky.

And the others? Generally all the terms mean that the treadmills have been disassembled to some degree and rebuilt, usually with new parts to relace broken or worn out parts. The frame sand blasted, sometimes, and the treadmill resprayed, sometimes. However there can be some differences.

Remanufactured treadmills or refurbished treadmills means just that. Treadmills which have been remanufactured or refurbished as we have described above. It doesn’t tell you WHO remanufactured or refurbished them. Was it the local bicycle mechanic who did it? Often you don’t know.

And what is the difference between refurbished and remanufactured? Generally remanufactured will mean an older machine which needs parts replacing because it is getting more worn out. Refurbished usually means newer machines which may even be only a year or two old and which do not have enough wear to require serious rebuilding.

Better always to look for FACTORY refurbished or remanufactured treadmills. Machines which have gone back to the original factory and been refurbished by qualified technicians. Or else a business which makes a living from remanufacturing or refurbishing treadmills.

This process should involve taking the treadmill apart, examining all the parts and replacing all broken, worn out or old parts. Before it is reassembled it should be sand blasted and repainted. It should look like a new treadmill, or at least very close to it.

So, things to look for:

1.The age of the treadmill.

2.Who is refurbishing or remanufacturing it.

3.Most importantly, the warranty you get with it.

Why the warranty? Well if it’s a great refurbished treadmill then they ought to recognise this with a great warranty.

No warranty? Stay clear. 60 or 90 days? Better but not perfect.

The longer the warranty, the more confidence you have in the machine. So when you buy, make sure you check out the warranty.

I have just been looking on the net at some refurbished Precor treadmills at my favourite refurbished treadmills merchant. Certainly amongst the refurbished Precor treadmills there is a lower range to choose from than new, but you’d expect that. But there are still plenty of choices. And expect a substantial saving off new price.

So if you’re new to treadmills and looking for refurbished Precor treadmills, or any refurbished treadmills for that matter, then there are some good choices available at some substantial savings.

Refurbished treadmills, certainly something to think about for the new treadmill user.

Electronics Companies: The Leading Edge

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:22 am

As technology becomes more refined, electronics companies are offering consumers and businesses a number of cutting-edge products. Following is a rundown of some of the top electronics companies and their latest offerings:

Nokia: Nokia, notable for its cell phones, has taken the lead in promoting mobile phone imaging. In events ranging from the London terrorist bombings to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, traditional news media relied on cell phone images of citizen journalists to bring viewers up-to-the-minute pictures of unfolding events. Moblogs – a combination of weblogs and mobile phone images – is gaining popularity on the Internet. Nokia plans to take advantage of these phenomena by continuing to refine the cell phone picture quality.

Sony: Sony has its proverbial fingers in every piece of the electronics pie, from televisions and digital cameras to computers and MP3 players. Sony’s latest hit is the VAIO notebook computer, which takes multimedia technology to the next level. In the VAIO, Sony has integrated software with hardware that allows you to watch television shows and record them to DVD as well as manage your music and create CDs. Sony is the leader in mobile computing innovation.

Apple: Although Apple continues to command only a small percentage of the personal computing market, it has captured the imaginations of digital music aficionados. Apple continues to rank number one with its iPod, iPod nano, and iPod shuffle. With iTunes, Apple is aptly able to provide both the content and the hardware for the digital music revolution.

Fujitsu: Fujitsu provides both consumers and vertical markets with computing solutions. From notebooks and Tablet PCs to scanners and printers, Fujitsu has the computer market covered. Fujitsu’s latest work in security biometrics, called PalmSecure, has earned the company awards such as “Best of Innovations” at the Consumer Electronics Show.

Panasonic: Panasonic offers an incredible range of products for both consumers and businesses. Panasonic’s consumer products include DVD and VCR players, cameras and camcorders, phones and fax machines, and computers. Panasonic’s plasma televisions have a “Wow!” factor that can’t be beaten – especially their line of framed plasma TVs that incorporate home décor into cutting edge technology.

Viking: Viking brings electronics to the kitchen with its high-end appliances. Viking is the gold standard – or in the culinary world, the stainless steel standard – of kitchen appliances. Its ranges incorporate electronic controls, and its refrigerators and outdoor grills turn amateur chefs green with envy.

Canon: Canon makes a variety of electronics for businesses and consumers, but their cameras are among the most innovative of those on the market. The Canon EOS 5D is one of the world’s smallest and lightest full-frame digital Single Lens Reflex cameras. A 2.5-inch LCD screen provides a superior viewing area, while their proprietary image processor allows for three frames per second for up to 60 JPEG frames in a burst.

This is only a sampling of what some of the leading electronics companies are offering. Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung, Toshiba, Siemens, and Wolf are also among the industry leaders offering innovative solutions for both businesses and consumers.

Las Vegas Weddings at the Flamingo

Filed under: University Of Relationships — admin @ 3:31 am

The Flamingo Hotel & Casino, which is located in the heart of the famous Las Vegas Strip, provides a beautiful garden area that sets the mood for the many wedding venues that are offered there. Located on a hill in the garden area is The Garden Chapel, an elegant indoor wedding chapel. This is a switch from the chapels that most other hotels offer since it is located on the grounds instead of within the hotel.

If you prefer an outdoor location over a chapel, the Flamingo has plenty to choose from. You can say your nuptials in The Gazebo Chapel, which is an ivy covered gazebo in a garden setting. Want something more dramatic? The Crescendo Pool venue, located in the pool area, offers a stunning atmosphere that includes the bride making her grand entrance from underneath a waterfall. The ceremony then takes place with a large waterfall acting as a romantic backdrop. This location is only available during fall and winter months.

The West Lawn, which is another outdoor garden site, provides an old fashioned gazebo located in the midst of a large grassy area. The Garden Trellis, a small garden locale with rose covered trellis, and The Paradise Falls, a small waterfall location, are available for more intimate affairs.

Traditional packages with ceremony site, minister, flowers, photos, and video are offered for these locations. Some packages include room or suite accommodations. Another great thing about the packages is that they provide either a pianist or violinist for the ceremony so you and your guests enjoy the experience of live music rather than recorded.

The Flamingo can also organize a reception for you. They can help you arrange everything from a simple or elaborate banquet to a gathering in one of their restaurants. If you prefer something private, they can even help you put together a party in your suite. So if you are looking to marry in Las Vegas and would like a romantic and breathtaking locale for your wedding, you may want to give the wedding sites offered by the Flamingo a closer look.

Mont Blanc Doubles in Volume since 2002 as Announced by Scientists

Filed under: Hall Of Travel — admin @ 6:58 pm

Brand new careful GPS measurements acquired on the 16-17th October have demonstrated that Mount Blanc amounts to 4810.7 m. Monte Bianco is smothered by a thick ice cap which has grown by 2.1 m in precisely two yrs moreover more surprising the volume of the ice has nearly doubled . Least ways that is as reported by the scientists.

The amount of snow and ice was calculated for the first time in 2004. It was calculated at 14700 cubic metres higher up than 4760 metres. It amounted to merely 13500 meters cubed in 2002 potentially owing to the high temperatures with +ve temp as high as 5000 m elevation. Yet the ice cap has all but doubled up since then and nowadays numbers 25000 cubic meters.

Chamonix village’s reputable local weather man Benjamin Machado explained the increment in the scale of the ice is among the contrary effects of global warming: Snow has not multiplied generally in the Alps only with climate change we’re having added warm prevailing westerly air currents which bring in rain at lower altitudes but in summer this results in significant snowfall that rests above 3600 m elevation therefore the volume of the ice is increasing. Compare that to the state of affairs in wintertime when the snow crystals are extremely cold and are transferred by the wind and so don’t settle down on the top.

Chamonix Haute Savoie France is not only infamous for Monte Bianco it is also a world renowned snowboarding town and climbing centre with lot’s of ski deals and chalet offers to be found. Moreover at merely 1 hr from Geneva it is perfect for a ski weekend.

Bohemian Grove

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:09 pm

Bohemian Grove:

“Bohemian Grove is ‘the greatest men’s party on Earth’, according to once-regular attendee Herbert Hoover. A secret little getaway for America’s male upper crust, the 2-week long annual retreat in Monte Rio, California, has all the luxuries you’d expect of an elitist clique: outdoor plays, an orchestra, delicious food and beverages, public urination, streaking, and human sacrifices, to name a few. Nestled in beautiful redwood forests, every Republican president since Coolidge has partaken in the gala, as well as a host of other huge names in business and politics. {Many of the discussions during the two week festival end up becoming the tenets upon which the bureaucracy and media begin to act.}

Little is known about its origins. The Bohemian Club was founded, according to its PR people, in 1872 by “five newspapermen, a Shakespearean actor, a vintner and a local merchant” from San Francisco. The male bonding funfest at the Grove itself began in 1879, near the Russian River. It wasn’t long before this yearly custom became an annual tradition which has continued for over 120 years. Members enjoy opera, literature, and music.” (1)

Perhaps the human sacrifices are just mock shows or theatre macabre in the style of Masonic rituals like the killing of Hiram Abiff but there are people who have escaped who say otherwise. Churchill was made a Druid in a well known presentation at Blenheim Palace and Thomas Paine correctly notes that the Masons derive their system from the Druids. This is true for all Luciferians or Heliopolitans who like to trace their history to the early shamanistic scientists and subsequent Chaos Scientists. There is little likelihood that any of these so-called Druids are anything like the Druids who formed the beneficent leadership of the Brotherhood on Earth in the time before Empire. People who like my research and who have sought to spread my message have taken umbrage when I tell them this if they consider themselves Druids or other neo-New Age cults.

MCSE? CCNA? How To Choose The Best Computer Certification For You

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:51 am

When you’re choosing which computer certification to pursue next, you should also be formulating a plan for your career. Your time is precious, and you should never choose to pursue a certification because it’s “hot”. There are some hard questions you should ask yourself before deciding to pursue the CCNA, CCNP, CCVP, CCSP, CCIE, MSCE, or any of the many other vendor certifications that are out there.

Why do I want this certification?

This is the biggest and most important question you should answer before you spend a dime on books or classes.

If your primary goal in earning a certification is the money you feel companies will throw at you after you get it, make sure to do your research first. Basing your certification pursuits on a salary survey can lead to some serious frustration on your part. Don’t get me wrong, I like money. J But those surveys can be very misleading. There’s really no such thing as an “average” salary in IT. Job responsibilities and requirements vary greatly from company to company, to the point where a “network admin” may make $25K at one job and $75K at another. You can see where such variations in pay can lead to some misleading statistics. (And if you’re thinking of attending a tech school whose main pitch is “look at all the money this cert can get you”, ask a lot of questions about how they arrived at this amount.)

A positive answer to this question works wonders. If you have a plan for your career, you’ll know how this certification can fit into your plans. If you don’t know what you’re going to do with it when you get it, or worse, don’t have a plan for your future, you may be wasting your time. Ask yourself the hard questions now – you won’t regret it.

How does the vendor protect my investment of time and money?

Let’s face it: earning your certification costs time and money. You’ve got to set time aside to study, you’ll need books, perhaps a class, etc. If you’re spending that money and time, it should be to make yourself more valuable in the workplace.

The vendor should also have a vested interest in keeping your certification valuable. Take Cisco, for instance. I was at a bit of a career crossroads a few years ago. Should I pursue my masters degree, or pursue the CCIE? I took a strong look at both choices, and I knew that Cisco works endlessly and tirelessly to protect the value of their certifications. While other major vendors have made strides to do so, I felt Cisco did the best job of protecting the value of their certifications. That’s why I felt secure in the investment of my finances and time into a major Cisco certification, and I’ve never made a better decision.

Before making a major investment into a computer certification, consider the steps that a vendor does or does not make to protect your investment.

Computer certifications have helped me tremendously in building my IT career. By asking the right questions, and taking a hard look at your motives and plans before pursuing a given certification, they can do the same for you.

Cisco Certification: A Survival Guide To The Cisco Cable Jungle

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 6:23 pm

One of the most confusing parts of beginning your Cisco studies is keeping all the cable types separate in your mind, and then remembering what they’re used for. This often occurs when a CCNA or CCNP candidate starts putting together their own home practice lab, and they suddenly realize that they have the equipment to run labs, but not the cables.

With this in mind, here are some common Cisco cable types and their primary use.

First, there’s the regular old “straight-through cable”, so named because the eight wires inside the cable go straight through the wire. While the wires may be twisted inside to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI), the wire that’s connected to Pin 1 on one end is connected to Pin 1 on the other end, and so on. In a home lab, a straight-through cable is often used to connect a switch port to an Ethernet port on a router, with a transceiver attached to the Ethernet port. Straight-through cables are also good for connecting a BRI interface to an ISDN simulator.

The “crossover cable” is so named because the wires do cross over between pins. This allows the devices to both send and receive at the same time, and crossover cables are a must for directly connecting ports on Cisco switches to create a trunk.

The “rollover cable” allows you to connect directly to a Cisco console port with your laptop or PC. This is the blue cable that comes with new Cisco devices, and it’s the one that engineers tend to hold on to with their lives. Without a rollover cable (also commonly called a “console cable”), you can’t connect your laptop directly to a Cisco device.

Finally, there’s the DTE/DCE cable. To create a frame relay cloud in your home lab (using one of your Cisco routers as a DCE), or to directly connect two Cisco routers via their serial interfaces, you will need a DTE/DCE cable. Remember that the DCE interface will need to supply clockrate to the DTE interface.

The different cable types can be confusing when you first read about them, but after tearing down or building your home lab a few times, you’ll definitely have them straight come test day!

Best of luck in your lab and your exams,

Chris Bryant

Brilliant Fridges Online

Filed under: Better Home Improvement — admin @ 10:10 am

When you or your family are looking for a fantastic deal on fridges and freezers shopping on the world wide web might well be an amazing method to make sure you don’t waste time & money. Don’t choose to squander your time browsing all around legions of high-street outlets in search of the finest deals – all you need to do is simply get to your laptop and log on and a whole brand spanking new planet of fridges awaits you on-line.

Nonetheless, with so many online shops how do you possibly consider which shop could make sure you don’t squander your money on fridges whilst still guaranteeing you happen upon an exceptional quality appliance. As a rule of thumb if you buy your fridge from a shop on your high street then you shouldn’t really have any significant qualms about buying your fridge from their website, and as you all realise you will often commonly acquire significantly cheaper prices on-line

Scanning a buyers guide is consistently a great place to begin when surveying the market-place for fridges – buyers guides are generally packed with a wealth of data and also effectively bring up issues you will not have considered independently. These important issues include; power usage, additional features & total capacity amongst further things.

Do not choose to always go with the cheapest offer – awfully often the first price you observe on a web-site could not include value added tax or delivery charges furthermore, when you finally reach the card payment stage you conceivably might well be charged a great deal more than you initially thought.

What date do you require it by? Not all on-line shops offer prompt delivery and if your current appliance has just stopped working you might not desire to wait four weeks for your brand new one. So regularly find out what the estimated delivery date will be. Don’t squander your time looking for good value fridges on inferior websites.

Be sure to find out the return policy – fridges are a tricky item to purchase; sometimes they seem great in the showroom or on a web-site but once you get it home you realise it does not complement your home at all. Therefore, you should always be careful.

2006 Brain Wave Research Trends

Filed under: Video Resources — admin @ 9:10 am

In 2005 brain wave research made huge strides thank in part to past years from research in fMRI, sleep research at Stanford and BioTech chemical research around the globe. Scientists also are getting closer to linking man with machine or to the point of realizing the dream of add-on memory or a future plug and play device hard drive hat to supplement your brains knowledge and education. One experiment allowed a monkey to move an object on a computer screen by simply thinking about it. The reward of course the proverbial “free banana” and this experiment was also done with a disabled child allowing him to communicate via computer.

In 2006 we will see a merging of all these technologies. Some Canadian Researchers are about ready to announce that they have discovered a way in which people can access secured doors, bank accounts and other secured privacy areas of importance by using their unique brain waves. We will see airport security systems, which pick up hostile intention brain waves and cause a level II screening of those travelers, a few more questions to answer, while still watching their brain waves. Investigators and military interrogators will begin to use controversial systems to detect lies in brain waves. Many citizens worried about privacy will object to these new technologies and science, but never the less we will see all of this in 2006.

Write and Distribute Your Articles Instead of Building Feeder or Mini-Sites

Filed under: Great Publishing Tips — admin @ 11:45 am

Have you noticed the feeder site or mini-site craze?

This is a traffic generation strategy where you create mini websites that feed targeted traffic to a primary “money” site… meaning, your core website that earns revenue for you and your business.

Feeder site example: Your core website is a financial investing tips website along with ebooks and pay per click ads on the site for revenue creation. You would create 5 mini-sites that are more granular than your core site (in this example, perhaps stocks, personal finance, mutual funds, college savings accounts, etc) and attempt to attract traffic that would deliver qualified traffic to your “money” site.

Should you build feeder sites? No.

Why?

Because you can get a much higher return and widen your reach by investing your time in writing hundreds and then thousands of articles that you put into syndication / distribution. Share your expertise with others and you’ll be rewarded with quality traffic back to your site.

The net effect will be better because rather than having 2-10 feeder sites sending traffic to your ‘money’ site, you’ll have hundreds and then thousands of websites sending your qualified traffic to your website.

Search engines frown on feeder sites because they (just like you and I) don’t like to be ‘gamed’. You can actually protect your search engine friendly reputation by not engaging in thinly-veiled feeder sites.

Article Syndication vs. Feeder/Mini-Sites Bottom line:

Feeder sites are not necessary.

Writing and distributing thousands of quality original articles is necessary if you want to achieve better targeted traffic creation results.

Go deep and think bigger. You can write and distribute thousands of articles before the year is over. Those who say it can’t be done are often investing their time in defending why it can’t be done vs. those of us who are doing it and know it is possible. You can do it too! :-) Put on your writing cap, get a plan, set an article writing volume goal and get started today.
